Let us help you save! We specialize in hydraulic dredging of agricultural drainage ditches, and we can substantially reduce your dredging costs. We developed a revolutionary and innovative method of dredging farmland drainage ditches. Working through the winter of 2004-2005, we designed a self-propelled 10-inch portable dredge for the sole purpose of dredging drainage ditches. Our portable dredge will cut a channel to 10.5 ft. wide. (Neighboring counties.)
Environmentally Friendly: Hydraulic dredging is more environmentally friendly than mechanical dredging: it does not damage vegetation on the slopes of ditches. When we pump silt into the field, the integrity of the slopes is not disturbed and erosion on the slopes is avoided.
No More Bulldozers: We no longer need a bulldozer to spread the spoil dirt. When we pump yardage from the ditch into the field, the dredge water spreads the silt naturally. As soon as the silt dries, the field is level and ready to be farmed.

Cubic Yards: Yardage pumped out of a ditch varies on each pass. Pumped yardage depends on the amount of debris in the ditch, the consistency of ditch sediment, and the pumping distance. To achieve desired depth in the ditch channel, we recommend a minimum of two passes for every ditch.
See our work! To see drainage ditches that we dredged in 2004-2005, drive north on route 67 from Beardstown. As you cross the bridge over the Illinois River at Beardstown (driving toward Rushville and entering Schuyler County), look at the first ditches that come into view on the left and right side of the highway. You will see two of the ditches we dredged for Coal Creek Drainage District. Pictures of those ditches appear on this page.
